Delaney Faulds may be one of the youngest artists we’ve had at Listen to Your Neighbors, but her songwriting résumé already reads like that of a seasoned Nashville veteran. Originally from Huntsville, Delaney is pursuing a degree in Songwriting and Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, one of the nation's premier music programs. Her journey began early. Delaney started writing songs at just eight years old, professionally recording her originals by eleven, performing at the legendary Bluebird Café's Writer's Night at twelve, and having songs recorded by other artists before she turned sixteen. As a songwriter, she has earned widespread recognition from industry professionals. The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) has named six of her songs to its prestigious Top 40, awarded her Best of the Tin Pan South Songwriter's Seminar, and recognized her as its overall "One to Watch" Songwriter. Most recently, two of her songs were selected as finalists in NSAI's Annual Songwriting Contest. As a performer, Delaney has appeared at events including Tin Pan South, Durango Songwriting Expo, Rising Artist Showcase, Panoply Arts Festival, Women in Music, Girls and Guitars, and numerous Nashville writers' rounds. Since releasing music in 2021, she has amassed more than 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone and continues to build momentum with a growing catalog of original music and has dozens of new releases on the horizon. With the storytelling instincts of a seasoned songwriter and the energy of an artist just beginning her journey, Delaney is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young voices to emerge from North Alabama.
