Rolling With Resistance: MI in Practice

A CE training hosted by Longleaf Recovery & Wellness This training helps reinforce foundational principles of Motivational Interviewing (MI) to all clinical staff. Participants will learn and engage through discussion, active participation, hand-on-practice, and demonstrations. Staff will gain a deeper understanding of MI principles such as “rolling with resistance”, reflections, change talk, evoking skills, and enhancing motivation in order to build rapport with clients and to address clinician burnout. This training will utilize experiential learning to grow and build confidence and skills in applying MI a broad range of clinical settings.
