In Person: Holiday Acts of Kindness @ 1:00 pm

Children will learn about community challenges and take action through stations to help our neighbors this holiday season. Who this In Person Event is for: Ages 2 -12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling. What you’ll be doing: Join Seeds of Caring as we lend a helping holiday hand to ensure our neighbors feel cared for and appreciated this holiday season. Families will learn about community challenges and then take action to help community members in various ways. Get ready to express gratitude to garbage collectors, spread holiday cheer through handmade cards for senior residents of National Church Residence properties, support our neighbors that receive services from Horizon House by assembling keep warm kits, help youth across Indianapolis feel comfort and warmth at bedtime with Goodnight Kits distributed by Firefly Children and Family Alliance, and create warm welcome door hangers for senior friends and community members. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make a tangible difference with the kids in your life! This event is hosted in partnership with the Indianapolis Public Library. Specific Instructions: All supplies will be provided.
