Brian Doby Comedy Show

Downtown Palm Springs Comedy Club, 21+ only, serves alcoholic drinks and features hilarious stand-up acts. A lively entertaining night out! Brian Doby is a standup comedian originally from Junction City and raised in Topeka, Kansas. He discovered his passion for comedy in 2012 during his very first open mic at Stanford's Comedy Club, where his natural timing instantly won over the crowd. Shortly after, Brian solidified his rising-star status by becoming a consecutive two-time semifinalist in the American Black Film Festival's "Comedy Wings" competition, performing at the legendary Comedy Store in Hollywood alongside seasoned television veterans.Brian's comedic style is grounded, conversational, and deeply authentic, drawing comparisons to Dave Chappelle. Relying on sharp storytelling rather than high-energy antics, he commands the stage simply by sharing honest, relatable observations. His material heavily features the humor found in everyday life, focusing on marriage, fatherhood, family dynamics, and financial struggles. Driven by the instant reward of making people laugh, Brian continues to produce his own local showcases and aims to take his career to the highest level—with sights set on television specials, national tours, and becoming a household name.
