Take a Hike with a Purpose: BZP Palm Springs

Hike one of the many trails Palm Springs has to offer and reflect on your purpose! Join Blue Zones Project Palm Springs and PS Take a Hike for a morning that combines movement, connection, beautiful desert views, and a little reflection along the way. Inspired by the Blue Zones Power 9® principle “Move Naturally,” this experience is about making movement part of everyday life—walking, exploring, connecting with others, and enjoying the outdoors. We’ll hike the South Lykken Trail, climbing approximately one mile and 600 feet to the picnic tables overlooking Palm Springs. Once there, we’ll take a break for snacks and water and spend some time thinking about something we don’t always make space for: our purpose. Through a fun, guided reflection, we’ll explore what gives our lives meaning and look ahead to what's next. What do you hope for yourself? What do you hope Palm Springs will become? And what role might you play in making that happen? Come for the hike, stay for the conversation, and connection. What to bring: Comfortable hiking shoes, water, sun protection, and an open mind.
