Griefy Walk in the Park

This month, we gather in recognition of Suicide Awareness Month, holding space for anyone whose grief includes a loss to suicide, and for anyone carrying the weight of that kind of loss in their family, friendships, or community. This grief often comes with its own silence, and there is room here to set that silence down, even for an hour. This walk is open to anyone navigating grief in any form. Whether you’re grieving a loss to suicide, a parent, a partner, a friend, or another significant loss, you are welcome here. As we walk together, we’ll reflect on the love that remains, the memories we carry, and the ways our loved ones continue to shape our lives. There is no pressure to share, no expectation to be anywhere other than where you are. Come as you are, bring a water bottle, comfortable shoes, and an open heart. Together, we’ll walk, remember, and honor the bonds that never break. If you know someone who is grieving, please share this with them, we would love to have them join us. About the Co-Hosts A Grief Like Mine is a compassionate community space that connects people navigating grief with others who have experienced similar loss, offering supportive gatherings, conversations, and healing experiences. Sorry For Your Loss (Cards) is a grief wellness brand for Black and Brown communities, reflecting culture, lived experiences, and a unique approach to the grieving process. Their culturally rooted greeting cards go beyond saying "sorry for your loss," offering love, care, and connection.
