Life-size Scarecrow workshop

Join us at ABC Acres on Sunday, September 27 at 2:00 PM for a hands-on Life-Size Scarecrow Making Event. Your family will work together to build, stuff, and create your very own full-size scarecrow—perfect for your front porch, yard, garden, or fall display. Tickets are $50 per family and include ONE life-size scarecrow. What ABC Acres Provides We’ll provide the materials needed to build and stuff your scarecrow. We’ll also be there to help families put everything together. What YOU Need to Bring Each family needs to bring an outfit for their scarecrow. For the best results, we recommend: • One pair of men’s size large jeans or overalls • One men’s size large long-sleeve shirt Flannels, old work shirts, overalls, worn jeans, and thrift-store finds are perfect. Feel free to get creative and give your scarecrow some personality! Take Your Scarecrow Home When the event is over, your family gets to take your finished life-size scarecrow home to enjoy for the rest of the fall season. Your new friend will not bend well so make sure you havea vehicle big enough. This isn't about creating the perfect scarecrow. It's about spending time together, getting creative, laughing, and making a fall memory on the farm.
