Salt of the Earth: A Fundraiser for Food Chain Workers Alliance

Join Milagro x El Cine for Salt of the Earth, a preshow conversation, and a fundraiser supporting Food Chain Workers Alliance. Who makes your Thanksgiving possible? Behind every meal are people who plant, harvest, pack, transport, prepare, and serve our food. This Thanksgiving season, we’re gathering to celebrate their work and stand alongside them. Join Milagro x El Cine on November 14 for a special matinee screening of Salt of the Earth, a fundraiser benefiting the Food Chain Workers Alliance. Before the screening, we’ll join FCWA for a conversation about food, labor, and the people behind our holiday tables. What does gratitude mean when we think about the hands that feed us? How can we turn that gratitude into solidarity? Then we’ll watch Salt of the Earth, bringing us together through cinema to reflect on dignity, community, and the power of collective action. The event will also feature custom artwork created for the occasion. Bring your friends, your family, and the people you share a table with. Let’s make this season of gratitude a reason to show up for one another.
