Special Event: Author & Activist Gene Baur

Cool OC is excited to host special guest speaker Gene Baur to discuss his new book and experiences working in environmental activism. Gene Baur, the President and Co-founder of Farm Sanctuary, is hailed as “the conscience of the food movement” by TIME magazine. Since the mid-1980s, Gene has worked to end factory farming and advocated for a just, sustainable and compassionate food system. He is the author of two best-selling books, and his work has educated millions and inspired an international farm sanctuary movement. There will be a Q&A and an opportunity to purchase the book and get it signed by Gene. Purchase your copy here or at the event. Cost shouldn't keep anyone from attending. Thanks to generous supporters, we have a few complimentary tickets available. Email [email protected] to request one.
