YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE Screening

A free screening of YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE on Tuesday night, Oct. 13, at 6:30 pm at Millsaps College Your Attention Please, directed by Sara Robin, is a new documentary that explores the impacts of the attention economy, social media, and Big Tech on childhood, mental health, and human connection. As the real-world consequences of social media come into focus, a resilient coalition of parents, Gen Z reformers, and whistleblowers are swinging back. Can we rebuild the tools of our time to serve humanity, or will we remain captive to the scroll? The Mississippi Film Society, in partnership with the Mississippi Humanities Council, is pleased to invite you to this free preview screening on Tuesday night, October 13th, at 6:30 pm at Millsaps College (room AC137). Tickets to this screening are limited to four per order. Space is limited, so we kindly ask that you only reserve seats if you plan to attend. If you have any questions about this screening, please email Ryan Parker at [email protected]. Parking information and directions to the theater space will be provided via email at a later date. This screening is the next installment in the ongoing series, Reel Intelligence, which includes films that invite us to think more deeply about our relationships to technology and AI.
