Eartha’s Post-Market Volunteering

Get involved with Eartha's Market staff by assisting with breakdown of our weekly market! Opportunity for gleaning leftover produce possible Eartha's Market volunteer activities involve working hand in hand with staff to support end of day operations of the market. EFAM staff will explain volunteer activities and work with you to learn about the market. Volunteer tasks are physical - sweeping, picking up trash, taking our trash, moving tables, washing dishes, and moving chairs. Actions like lifting may feel like a full-body workout! If you have any physical or health limitations we can accommodate you. WHAT TO WEAR? Weather appropriate clothes that you do not mind gettinga little messy. We recommend closed-toe shoes. We provide a drinking water fountain but please bring a water bottle that you can refill. DON'T GET LOST! Look for the white fence surrounding the farm and the high tunnel on the farm site. If you are heading North on Moncrief, the farm is just after you cross the railroad tracks on the left-hand side of the road. If you are driving south on Moncrief, the farm is just after you pass Moncrief Creek on the right-hand side of the road. Once you arrive, turn right after you pull through the gate to park in front of the metal Quonset Hut. Staff are stationed in front of the metal building so walk up to the front of the building to find EFAM staff and sign in. At EFAM we want to be socially responsible and provide safety tips for anyone concerned about their health.
