CARRIE THE MUSICAL

A story that refuses to die. THE 5 & DIME presents CARRIE THE MUSICAL Music by Michael Gore Lyrics by Dean Pitchford Book by Lawrene D. Cohen Based on the novel by Stephen King directed by Caryl Butterley musical direction by Erin Barnes A story that refuses to die. CARRIE is a rock-driven musical that cranks the horror of teen angst to eleven, with a mother and daughter locked in a bond that is as tender as it is terrifying. This iconic story, first brought to life as a novel by Stephen King more than 50 years ago (!!!), remains messy, unflinching, and chillingly relevant. “Carrie is edge-of-your-seat all-out entertainment.” – The Monitor CAST Sadie Sims as Carrie Regina Torres as Margaret Mackenzie Sinclair as Sue Caden Christel as Tommy Jo Lynn Fletcher as Chris Noah Stevens as Billy Rachel Johns as Miss Gardner Mitchell Wohl as Mr. Stephens Anecia Francis as Frieda Natalie Recker as Norma Miles Genaovargas as Helen Cianna Desideri as Barbara Leland Locke as George Benjamin Sandlin as Stokes Harper Reed as Freddy CREATIVE TEAM: Directed by Caryl Butterley Musical Direction by Erin Barnes Choreography by Terry Star Production Design & Management by Anvar Gashimov Stage Management by Jillian Cote Technical Direction by Ryan Walker Set Construction by Logan Forbess Props by Anvar Gashimov & Jillian Cote Fridays, October 23, 30, and November 6 at 8pm Saturdays, October 24, 31, and November 7 at 8pm Sundays, October 25 and November 1 at 2pm Thursday, October 29 at 8pm A special Pay What You Please performance will be held Monday, November 2 at 8pm; Reservations not required.
