Business Leader Roundtable: Child Care

A peer-to-peer conversation on how child care affects the workforce and what employers can do about it. Join Southwest Michigan First for a peer-to-peer conversation with local business leaders to explore how child care impacts our region's workforce and identify opportunities for employers to make a difference. The discussion will feature perspectives from: • Jennifer Owens, CEO, Southwest Michigan First • Andy Richards, COO, Duncan Aviation • Bill Manns, President and CEO, Bronson Healthcare Group • Shannon Garrett, Senior Program Advisor, MiLEAP • Kathy Szenda Wilson and Maria Ortiz Borden, Co-Executive Directors of Pulse at the WE Upjohn Institute and lead for the Southwest Michigan Regional Child Care Coalition Rather than a traditional presentation, this roundtable is an opportunity for business leaders to share their experiences, discuss challenges and explore practical steps employers can take, both individually and collectively. We encourage business leaders to come ready to share their perspectives and be part of the conversation.
