This unique and relaxing multi-sensory experience will be suitable for all levels of ability and practice. Qi gong refers to a broad family of movement techniques for cultivating the body's vital energy and harmonizing with the ecosystem around us. Lead by Inner Space steward Briar Rose, we'll begin with simple mobility warm-ups followed by a series of elemental forms for attuning with the elements, with plenty of encouragement to find your own rhythm and move at your own pace. Samuel will accompany us throughout, weaving the magic and medicine of a lifetime spent in devotion to music into the living presence of our co-created practice space. All bodies are welcome and encouraged to join us, no experience is necessary. Expect to breathe, move gently, at your own pace and rhythm, and exercise your imagination. All of our forms can be done standing, seated or even lying down. Bring your questions and curiosities (and maybe a date!) and wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving in.
