Join us for our celebration of International Archaeology Day! Join us for a FREE family program at the McClung Museum celebrating International Archaeology Day. Can You Dig it? invites you to learn about the past and present with professional archaeologists from UT through engaging hands-on activities. Date: Sunday, October 18 Time: 12:00-4:00 p.m. **Tickets available starting October 4. ** Families of all ages are invited to the McClung Museum for a FREE day of hands-on family fun celebrating International Archaeology Day. Attendees will dig deep into the past at our activity stations and learn from professional archaeologists, University of Tennessee professors, and graduate students. Our interactive stations offer a wide array of engaging activities, including craft pottery, mini lab activites, an onsite excavation, and so much more! Funding for the McClung Museum’s educational programming has been provided by the Knox County Tourism Consortium.
