This is a hands-on, flour-on-your-hands, laugh-out-loud tortellini-making experience, and you are going to love every minute of it. We open with a guided extra virgin olive oil tasting, where Pino, our farmer’s son straight from the groves of Calabria, walks you through the bold, buttery, and beautifully peppery world of real EVOO. He’ll tell you things about olive oil, Southern Italian food culture, and the ancient traditions behind what you’re tasting that will genuinely change the way you cook. While you sip and taste, you’ll graze on a spread of Italian delicacies Pino has hand-crafted for the evening, because around here, no one sits down to an empty table. Then it’s time to get your hands in the dough. You’ll mix up your own savory meat and spinach filling, cut your pasta into shapes, and fill each one before learning the classic fold and wrap that gives tortellini its signature little twist. A few tries in, your fingers will know just what to do. No experience required. Seriously. We have had complete beginners walk out of here beaming. And you won’t leave empty-handed. Every guest takes home a complete meal of their own handmade tortellini, because that’s simply how we do things.
