We know that moving somewhere new is one thing. Making it feel like home is another. That’s why Not From Here, Either is bringing you The Housewarming, an autumn social designed to bring Lancaster transplants and locals together for an afternoon of good music, shared experiences, and meaningful connections. Whether you’ve recently landed in Lancaster or have called it home for years, you’re invited to experience your city a little differently. We’re turning 10 North Loft into a welcoming space where you can meet new people, discover a local venue, and start building the connections that make Lancaster feel more like home. No awkward networking. No pressure to know anyone beforehand. Just an opportunity to get out, enjoy yourself, and connect with people who are open to doing the same. WHAT TO EXPECT SIP. SNACK. SOCIALIZE. Good Music: A welcoming atmosphere with music to set the mood. Social Games: Interactive activities designed to make introductions easier and conversations more natural. Light Bites: Enjoy a selection of light refreshments included with your admission. Seasonal Drinks: Cocktails, mocktails, and coffee available for purchase from the bar. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU ARRIVE Can I come alone? Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. Our gatherings are thoughtfully designed to make meeting new people feel more comfortable, even when you don’t know anyone in the room. Do I have to be new to Lancaster? Not at all! While we especially welcome people who are new to the area or still finding their place, locals are an important part of the village, too. Is this a dating or networking event? Neither! The Housewarming is a community social focused on friendship, shared experiences, and genuine human connection. Is food included? Yes! Light bites are included with your ticket. We recommend eating beforehand if you’re looking for a full meal. Are drinks included? No. Cocktails, mocktails, and coffee will be available for purchase from the bar. Is there an age requirement? Yes. This event is exclusively for guests ages 21 and older. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID. What should I wear? Come comfortably dressed for an autumn social. There’s no formal dress code. Do I need to bring anything? Just yourself, your ticket, and a valid photo ID! BEFORE YOU GO… Finding your place somewhere doesn’t happen overnight.
