West Art Welcomes Cris Jacobs and Seth Walker!

West Art is excited to announce that Cris Jacobs and Seth Walker are coming to town! Seth Walker is a revered modern Americana artist; a three dimensional talent combining a gift for melody and lyric alongside a rich, Gospel-drenched, Southern-inflected voice with a true blue knack for getting around on the guitar. Currently residing in Asheville after stints living in Nashville, New Orleans and Austin, he’s used those experiences wisely, soaking up the sounds and absorbing the musical lineage of these varied places. From Baltimore comes Cris Jacobs — an unexpectedly gritty soul-blues singer and guitarist with outlaw country ethos. Blending a variety of musical traditions, Jacobs creates a distinctive voice and sound of his own punctuated by emotive songwriting and explosive guitar playing. Equally at home playing heartfelt Americana ballads or funky blues rockers, Jacobs is known for his mesmerizing live shows, where his improvisational guitar playing, powerhouse band, and deep reservoir of songs make each night a unique experience. These two are ready to make their mark at West Art, so join us for an evening of special moments, plenty of stories, and songs that leave you feeling like you're exactly where you need to be.
