Preparedness is Wellness: Hands On Outdoor Survival Skills

Join us for an in person hands on learning session facilitated by a naturalist at Watkins Regional Park to learn outdoor survival skills. On Wednesday September 23rd at 12pm , join us for an in person hands on learning experience during lunch time. Get outdoors for an adult field trip and some outdoor activity instead of your usual lunch break. Register today to attend this session facilitated by a naturalist with Watkins Regional Park. In this session "Outdoor Survival Skills Plus" you will embark on an immersive journey into the wilderness! This experience combines outdoor shelter building, starting a fire, a light guided nature hike, and indoor basic survival needs training to equip you with essential skills for thriving in the great outdoors. Note: Moderate fitness level required as there will be walking and extensive kneeling during activities. Dress comfortably for the weather and working outdoors: long shirt and pants recommended.
