Friends Not Food Vegan Picnic

Games will be available to play at your table, but feel free to bring any additional games or activities you’d like to share. What to Expect:From 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM, we’ll begin with check-in. There will be open seating, and everyone will receive a name tag and meet new friends. From 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM, enjoy eating, mingling, and getting to know those around you At 7:15 PM, we’ll gather for impact statements and closing remarks. This is when we’ll calculate the impact of our vegan picnic, which tracks how many animals, how much water, and how many carbon emissions we saved, and recognize our sponsors. Clean-up will begin at 7:45PM as the event concludes, and we’ll make sure to leave the Quad exactly as we found it. Wherever you are on your vegan journey, you’ll be welcomed if you’re coming with vegan food and an open mind. *includes vegan curious people Do I have to bring something?No, there’s no requirement to bring food since this is not a potluck. As an outdoor event, we suggest bringing water. Join us just to meet new friends! Do I need a ticket to join?Tickets are free and help us gauge attendance so we can prepare for seating. We also use them for our impact calculator, which tracks how many animals, how much water, and how many carbon emissions are saved through our vegan picnics. Can I bring my pet?While we love animals, they are better left at home for this event.
