Topics include the benefits of physiologic birth, pain and coping techniques, relaxation and breathing methods, positioning for each stage of labor, and the role of the birth partner. Evidence-based information is presented to promote informed decision-making, leaving you feeling empowered and confident for the birth you desire. Note: It is recommended that expectant couples attend the Childbirth Basics Series Class before attending the Natural Birth Workshop. This is to ensure that those attending have a basic understanding of the birth process, hospital procedures and common medical interventions. Cost: $50 (registration includes two adults) *Refunds are available via Eventbrite if you cancel within 7 days of the scheduled class date. Requests for refunds after the class has taken place will not be granted. All classes are held in the Childbirth Education Classroom at Summerlin Medical Office Building 1, located at 653 N.
