Start with the truth. Everything after that is up for grabs. True Story draws inspiration from true stories told live on stage by a guest story teller. Our improvisers take the people, details, awkward moments, and weird little side notes from that story and turn them into a fast-moving series of completely improvised comedy scenes. And because this is True Story, the characters don’t always keep their thoughts to themselves. At any point, someone can head to the confessional chair and tell the audience what they’re really thinking. That means secrets come out, motives get exposed, and scenes can get a lot messier once you know what everyone actually thinks about each other.
