Full description from organizerShow less
Join Bond House Books on the first Tuesday of every month for thoughtful book discussions in queer community. Next month we’ll be meeting on November 3rd to discuss Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong. In Vuong's second novel, lonely young Hai and elderly widow Grazina become an unlikely found family. This meditation on community and survival in the face of modern America's alienation holds all the grace and beauty of Vuong's poetic style. You can buy your copy from Bond House Books at any of our in-person events or through our Bookshop affiliate link: https://bookshop.org/shop/bondhousebooks RSVP to let us know you're coming! This event is FREE to attend & copies of our December book club pick will be available for purchase at the meeting.
