Gain new insights into two collection-based exhibitions with the curators who organized them. Abstract Gestures explores mid-century American abstraction which prioritized experimentation, expression, and process; it will be presented by Sheldon’s Chief Curator and Associate Director for Curatorial Affairs, Magdalena Moskalewicz. Precarious, a selection of dynamic sculptures examining movement, balance, and the unexpected, will be discussed by Christian Wurst, associate curator for exhibitions. This tour is free and open to everyone.
