June 26: First Set | Cheesy Bandito  ****  Second Set | Rascal Martinez Cheesey Bandito - Formed in 2019, Cheesy Bandito blends indie rock, Americana, and vintage surf pop into their repertoire. Despite being hundreds of miles from the ocean, Cheesy Bandito serves surf-room pop jams to fans across the globe. Intertwined, jangly guitar riffs carry bright melodies over bouncy bass lines and crisp, pop-driven rhythms. Though based far from the coast, their music channels an easygoing, surf-inspired energy that resonates well beyond Nebraska. Rascal Martinez - Rascal Martinez is a Nebraska-based singer-songwriter who blends rockabilly, folk, country, and Latin influences into both covers and original songs. His music is described as both fresh and nostalgic, echoing early rock artists while maintaining a distinctive style. Known for his deep, raspy country voice, Martinez combines strong guitar work with driving bass and drums. Despite gaining national touring recognition, he stays grounded in his small-town roots in Sutherland, Nebraska. His songwriting reflects simple, Midwestern perspectives on life and relationships, shaped by the quiet, straightforward lifestyle of his hometown. July 24: First Set | Orion Walsh & the Rambling Hearts  ****  Second Set | Mike Semrad and the Riverhawks Orion Walsh & the Rambling Hearts - This powerful folk-rooted singer songwriter shares his vivid storytelling with his deep, expressive lyrics. Performing not only as a solo artist, but also with his band, Orion has taken the stage in over 1,000 concerts in 15 different countries over the last decade. With power in his voice, he strikes the heart to his fans with his masterwork of original folk melodies. You may recognize some of his pieces as they have made an appearance in a variety of television shows and independent films. Expect to see more from this free-spirited troubadour in the years to come. Mike Semrad and the Riverhawks - Mike Semrad & The Riverhawks channel the spirit of classic 60s and 70s R&B into a sound that feels both timeless and alive. Anchored by Semrad’s smooth, soulful vocals, the band layers tight rhythms with rich horn arrangements to create a full, dynamic sound. Drawing inspiration from legends like Sam Cooke, Tower of Power, and Stevie Wonder, their performances are equal parts polished musicianship and infectious energy, built to keep audiences moving. August 28: First Set | Das Dat  ****  Second Set | Andy William & The Nebraska All Stars Das Dat - This funk/R&B band that is based out of Lincoln, Nebraska, is sure to bring you to your feet. Various musical influences are shown by members of this group on stage as they each represent a diverse style. They are sure to have you movin’ and groovin’. These individuals are able to come together to blend and create a unique, tasteful experience for their audience. As you listen, you are sure to fall in love with their contagious good vibe, as we see them bond together on stage to share with us their love for music that they play. They will certainly get you singing, clapping, and dancing on your feet. Don’t miss out on a fun night of hearing Das Dat perform! Andy William & The Nebraska All Stars - Andy William & The Nebraska All Stars are introducing a new Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra, bringing together a stellar cast of musicians currently residing in Nebraska. Originating from various countries, including Cuba, Panama, Colombia, Mexico, and the United States, these artists offer a diverse repertoire. Their music encompasses different styles of Cuban music—such as Latin Jazz, Danzón, Guaracha, Cha Cha Cha, and Guaguanco—as well as American rhythms. The orchestra also regularly pays tribute to Cuba's Buena Vista Social Club. Led by Andy William, who is originally from Havana, Cuba, and now lives in Nebraska, the group aims to unite the universal language of music and celebrate global diversity. September 25: First Set | Vinh and Beyond Bananas  ****  Second Set | Unbridled Soul Vinh and Beyond Bananas - Vinh Le (guitar), has joined forces with Beyond Bananas bringing new tunes to life. The groovy funk rock outfit out of Lincoln, Nebraska features Austin Griswold (vocals and sax), Aydin Mack (trumpet and guitar), Will Stacy (guitar), DJ Oestmann (bass), Ben Stacy (drums), Chad Fey (keys), and Keeran Woode (aux. percussion).  Unbridled Soul - Unbridled Soul & The Brass Saddle Horns is an Omaha, Nebraska-based country-soul fusion band that puts on a high-energy show. The band is made up of students, alumni, educators, and retired vets, and they are known for their dynamic mix of punchy horns, smooth harmonies, and feel-good vibes.The band draws inspiration from a wide range of artists, including Shania Twain, Blake Shelton, Aretha Franklin, and Earth, Wind & Fire. They offer a variety of options to suit any occasion, from chill cocktail sets to full-on 12-piece dancefloor explosions. The 2026 nonprofit partner for this summer music series is the Great Plains Trails Network, a group of citizens who advocate for and support a network of trails in and around Lancaster County. While the event is free, food prepared by The Hub Cafe and local food trucks, as well as local craft beer, hard cider and beverages, will be available for purchase. However you choose to get to Hub & Soul, we will have the right parking options for you. Bikes can be locked up near the entrance and cars can be safely parked in the Assurity garage.
