Robert Humphries and Gwenith Closs-Colgrove present a Lunchbox Lecture on Welsh immigration history in Nebraska. The speakers share stories of settlers who established communities like Wymore across the state. Visitors will learn about the experiences of these immigrants during this special presentation.

On October 20th at 12 pm, join us for a special Lunchbox Lecture highlighting the history of Welsh immigration to Nebraska. Robert Humphries, Executive Director of the Great Plains Welsh Heritage Project, and Gwenith Closs-Colgrove, President of the Great Plains Welsh Heritage Project will share the story of Welsh immigrants who settled in communities like Wymore, NE. Wymore was just one of a dozen Welsh communities in Nebraska. Special thanks to the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation for providing funding for this event series and the recording to broadcast on LNKTV.
