The Arkansas State Archives will hold its fall symposium titled “Crime and Consequence: Stories from Arkansas History” Join the Arkansas State Archives for a special half-day symposium, “Crime and Consequence: Stories from Arkansas History,” held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Historic Arkansas Museum. This free event brings together three engaging speakers, Bitty Martin, Susan Young, and Sarah Russell, to explore some of the most compelling historical crime stories in Arkansas. Topics include: • Crime in Hot Springs • The Cane Hill Murders • The Life and Death of Helen Spence This symposium offers a fascinating look into Arkansas’ past. Attendance is free and open to the public.
