Long Beach Time Exchange Potluck Social + Mini Repair Cafe

Rediscovering What We Can Accomplish Together Join the Long Beach Time Exchange for an afternoon of connection, discovery, and community building. Whether you're a longtime member or brand new to time exchanges (sometimes called time banking), this FREE gathering is designed to help us explore what becomes possible when we pool our time and talents. What is Time Exchange? Time exchange is a way of giving and receiving help where everyone's time has equal value. When you help someone for an hour, you earn one time credit. Use that credit to get help from anyone in our network. An hour of dog walking equals an hour of tax preparation equals an hour of gardening equals an hour of tutoring. We all have gifts to share, and we all have things we need - time exchanges make both visible and connect us to each other. About the Mini Repair Cafe While you can get many items back in working order at the LBC Fix It Clinics, you can’t bring computers, mobile phones, or jewelry there… So we’re hosting a mini repair cafe!
