AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED Course

Learn life-saving skills in our AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED Course - you never know when you might need them! In this four-hour video-based, hands-on instructor-led course, you will be taught the basics of adult CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, and how to relieve choking. Upon completion of this course, students will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED course completion card that is valid for two years. The Heartsaver CPR/AED plus Infant Course teaches the basic techniques of adult, child, and infant CPR and how to give first aid for choking. Students also learn how to use an AED, which has become more important since AEDs are now found in the majority of large public places, and they have been proven to be much more effective than CPR alone. We recommend this course to those desiring CPR certification applicable to basic medical care for a wide age range, from infant to adult. This course is designed for the general community to obtain CPR skills for emergency situations. *Note: the AHA Heartsaver CPR AED certification is NOT equivalent to the AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
