Author Talk with Anna Malaika Tubbs

Join us in conversation on The Three Mothers: Radical Black Motherhood as Resistance with Anna Malaika Tubbs! With Election Day behind us, join P4L as we process the weight of political decisions made at the ballot box. NYT bestselling author Anna Malaika Tubbs (The Three Mothers) and Trina Greene will offer a sanctuary to anchor in what truly sustains us. Together, we will look to the legacies of Alberta King, Berdis Baldwin, and Louise Little—the women who raised Martin Luther King, Jr., James Baldwin, and Malcolm X—to explore how resistance begins right inside our homes. Learn how Black motherhood remains a vital site of political power, protection, and liberation, despite what’s happening in the political arena.
