Elegant Snowflakes Papercraft Workshop

Learn how to make stunning papercraft projects for the holidays—ornaments, greeting cards, gift tags, or art pieces. Settle into the holiday season with a cozy papercrafting workshop! You’ll choose from myriad colors, messages, and materials to create your own gorgeous snowflake project (or two, if time permits!). Possibilities include ornaments, gift tags, greeting cards, and art pieces. No previous experience is necessary; Francesca from Ink & Paper Apothecary will provide all the supplies and guidance needed. Techniques covered in this workshop will include die cutting, stamping, and hot foiling. Materials are thoughtfully curated to offer a deeply satisfying crafting experience—paper and embellishments of exceptional quality, chosen to work well together and strike a balance between “options” and “overwhelm.” Ink & Paper Apothecary workshops are designed around these core principles: • accessibility and inclusion - collaborating to create safety and find solutions for all participants and their unique needs (cognitive, mobility, energy and focus management, or other) • individual expression - providing an array of options that invite every crafter to make something that speaks to them • no fail states - setting up choices and processes to minimize frustration (or “bad outcomes”), and celebrating experimentation • community - appreciating the collaborative, connected experience of creating together Note: To support public health and immunocompromised participants, please be mindful of any exposure to illness. Masks will be available as well.
