Join Horticulture Educator and Garden Lead, Erik Blank, for an overview of seasonal maintenance practices, watering schedules, and pruning techniques using practical examples to give you a solid foundation in assessing the needs of your native garden in So Cal spring conditions. This walk and talk will be held outdoors in our demonstration gardens. We ask guests to wear closed-toe shoes, sun protection, and to prepare for up to one hour of walking on sloped and uneven surfaces. Water bottles are strongly recommended. Erik Blank is a long-time California native plant enthusiast. He is Horticultural Educator & Garden Lead and an instructor of the California Native Plant Landscaper Certification for the Theodore Payne Foundation.
