Great Food: Saturday Soup Kitchen

Join fellow volunteers in preparing and serving meals and distributing clothing and other necessities to our low income and unhoused neighbors.  Saturday Soup Kitchen hours are 8:30am-1pm, but volunteers are welcome to come and go at their convenience. Located at 3903 Wilshire Blvd, entrance behind the church on St. Andrews Place.  At the entrance, use the touch screen to select "SOUP KITCHEN".  Announce your name, and that you have arrived to volunteer.   Before your first time volunteering, please review our volunteer agreement.  You only need to sign the agreement once.  Unable to volunteer your time right now?  Consider donating financially at our website here, or through our Amazon Wishlist here.   About Great Food: Based in the heart of Koreatown at St. James Episcopal Church, Great Food is a soup kitchen and food pantry dedicated to serving low-income and unhoused individuals with dignity and compassion. We provide nutritious meals, hygiene products, clothing, and a safe, welcoming space for all who walk through our doors. Operated through the generosity of donations and the hard work of volunteers, great food is committed to nourishing our community in more ways than one.
