Hands-On: Fall Risotto

Join us for the savory Italian comfort meal! Learn to make this Fall risotto that embraces the flavors of the season. As Fall is here, it is starting to get chilly, and we must count on classic dishes to warm us right back up. A short-grain, starchy arborio rice cultivated in North Italy makes for a perfectly creamy risotto, simmered slowly with flavorful stock, and accented with seasonal vegetables from mushrooms to squash. This hands-on class is perfect for those looking to master one of Italian cooking's most rewarding techniques - with great wine and even better company. In this Class You Will: • Learn about the cultural origin of risotto from Lombardia. • Explore the different rice types used to create risotto. • Discover the ingredients and techniques for seasoning and balancing flavors. • Prepare your own risotto with guidance of Chef of La Scuola during the workshop. • Sip a glass of Italian wine while cooking, followed by a second paired perfectly to your risotto • Take home your recipe card Please Note: • This hands-on class is limited to 8 guests • The style of this class is set up for two people per workstation. If you come with a party larger than 2, additional guests will be paired with another guest for the workshop • The menu for this class is exclusive to the concept - some dietary restrictions may not be able to be accommodated for this format • Restrictions: Ages 12 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. • One ticket purchase is valid for one guest • Seating is first-come, first-served • Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes • All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued ID proving they are 21 or older. In the event of a cancellation, we will contact you directly to offer a full refund or credit toward a future event. We are not able to offer credit, transfers, or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, or personal emergencies — however, you are always welcome to send someone in your place. If purchasing this class as a gift, please share this policy with the recipient, as it will still apply.
