Empowering Health Awareness 5K Walk/Run on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Pierce College in Woodland Hills. This inspiring community event raises awareness about chronic kidney disease and the conditions that often lead to kidney disease, including diabetes and high blood pressure. Together, we bring patients, transplant recipients, survivors, healthcare professionals, caregivers, advocates, families, children, and community members together to promote kidney health, healthy living, and early prevention—because kidney health matters at every age. As a participant, your support helps us provide: • Free kidney health education and resources • Health and wellness screenings • Access to healthcare professionals who can answer questions about kidney disease and prevention • Wellness activities for the entire family • Community resource booths • Local businesses, entertainment, massages, and family-friendly activities • Educational materials and giveaways One of the highlights of this event is that admission is completely free for individuals living with a chronic condition and for seniors. Everyone else is welcome to join us for a nominal registration fee, helping us continue our mission of serving the community.
