Luminex Presents: The Infinite Between

Join us in the heart of Venice Beach for a night of art that explores the mysterious relationship between the ocean and the universe. “LUMINEX Presents: The Infinite Between” explores the profound and mysterious relationship between the ocean and the universe, two seemingly infinite realms that shape human existence while remaining largely unknown to us. Connected through forces both visible and unseen, from the moon’s gravitational pull on the tides to the rhythms that govern bodies, ecosystems, and celestial systems, the ocean and cosmos become mirrors of one another: vast, ancient, immersive, and beyond complete comprehension. Through contemporary practices that unite art, technology, and nature, the exhibition invites artists to interpret these interconnected worlds through light, sound, movement, digital media, and sensory experience, creating opportunities to consider our place within systems far greater than ourselves. At its core, LUMINEX Presents: The Infinite Between asks how encounters with the unknown can awaken wonder, humility, and a deeper spiritual connection—to nature, to the universe, and ultimately, to one another. “LUMINEX Presents: The Infinite Between”, produced by NXT Art Foundation and Earth Calling, is funded in part by the Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) from the National Endowment for the Arts.
