Noche de Catrinas

Join us for Noche de Catrinas, organized by RAGGEDYTIFF & Latinx with Plants, for an intentional & intimate night of workshops & dinner Join us for our third consecutive year of Noche de Catrinas, in celebration of Dia de Muertos! This intimate evening event is hosted & organized by Jessica Resendiz of RAGGEDYTIFF and Andi Xoch of Latinx with Plants, and features a carefully curated selection of workshops & a special homemade dinner. This will be our third year hosting this event, and each year has truly been a dream and more than we hoped for. We're so grateful that our dedication has been supported so strongly by our community, and that this event has fostered so much connection over the past two years. This year our intention and love will be even greater, & we cannot wait to share this night with you all! Here's what to expect and look forward to: 🏵️ 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Cocktail Hour Featuring light bites & refreshments in the backyard greenhouse at Latinx with Plants 🏵️ Handmade Flower Crown Workshop by Andi of Latinx with Plants 🏵️ Private surprise performance! 🏵️ Catrina Makeup Workshop with nail artist Sam of @NailArtFairy and Jess of RAGGEDYTIFF 🏵️ Special ceremony honoring our ancestors & loved ones 🏵️ Special homemade dinner and pan de muerto 🏵️ Custom photo portrait experience 🏵️ Curated gift bags All workshop supplies and refreshments/food will be included! We apologize, but we will not have vegetarian or vegan options available this year. Our shared mission is to create more intimate and meaningful events where we can gather in community, connect deeply and feel safe to celebrate traditions. This event is more than a gathering - it's about belonging, connecting and the joy of experiencing something heartfelt together and to feel/have an experience. Space is limited to 45 guests, so grab your tickets ASAP! Please note that we do not offer refunds on our event ticket sales, so please make sure you're 100% able to attend before RSVP'ing. Attendees must be 21+. We highly recommend ride-sharing or carpooling to our shop at 2208 E Cesar E Chavez Ave on the night of the event! Unfortunately we do not have a parking lot, but there is a public paid parking lot on our cross-street, Chicago Street, that is open all day and is quite affordable. Parking tends to be limited and competitive in our area, especially on a Sunday evening, but free residential parking can be found on all side streets off Chavez. Please try to arrive 5-10 minutes early for parking purposes. Some of the activities of the evening will be held outdoors in our backyard greenhouse, which is covered but open-air, and can be cold in the evenings. Please bring a jacket or dress accordingly. Our backyard is somewhat ADA accessible, with a ramp leading out to the back, but the majority of the backyard is paved with gravel, which can be hard for some folks to navigate. Please keep this in mind when RSVP'ing. If you need any special accommodations, or if you'd like to sponsor a ticket for someone else, please send us an email at [email protected] with more information.
