Portraiture Musical Chairs: A Halloween Costume Party

Draw, rotate, repeat! A social portrait session with a spooky soundtrack and optional drawing prompts. Come show off your costumes! Portrait Musical Chairs is a fast-paced, social figure drawing experience where artists become both the subject and the artist. Throughout the evening, participants will rotate partners, creating a series of timed portraits while meeting fellow creatives in a relaxed, welcoming environment. This month’s session we will be showing off and drawing each other in our costumes to a spooky soundtrack. Between rounds, we’ll introduce optional creative prompts to encourage new ways of observing and drawing. Follow the prompts, put your own spin on them, or simply enjoy the music and draw at your own pace. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your portrait skills, meet other artists, or just spend an evening drawing, Portrait Musical Chairs is open to artists of all experience levels. We will also have a costume contest with prizes! Winners will be chosen through popular vote. 1st Place: A Pop Hop Tote, One free session with a guest pass, A Boo Basket containing stationary, drawing goodies, and sweets!
