Join photographers, models, and creators for a 3-hour content day across three unique studios in DTLA. Think of this as a Content Day! On Saturday, September 19, from 3 to 6 PM, FD Photo Studio opens three completely different studios at our Hill location in DTLA. Photographers, models, videographers, musicians, makeup artists, social media creators, and anyone who needs fresh content is welcome! One ticket gets you three hours across all three studios — at a fraction of what it would cost to book even one of them on your own. This is the most affordable way to shoot at FD Photo Studio. What is a Photo Mixer? An open studio session where creatives who need content come together and shoot at the same time. Come solo and collaborate with whoever is in the room, or bring your own team with our Discounted Group Tickets. Either way, you walk away with work from three different setups in one afternoon. Studios Open During the Event Rain Room — real rain, RGB lights, and a daylight window. Pull the blackout curtain for a fully moody setup or shoot with natural light. Dramatic and cinematic for any genre. Floor will be wet — watch your step and bring a towel if you plan to shoot in the rain. RGB Room — blacked-out studio with an RGB light wall, moving spotlights, and a disco ball. Built for music videos, dance content, performances, and any shoot where dramatic lighting does the work. Moroccan Room — daylight studio with textured Moroccan-style walls, decorative steps, a working shower, and a freestanding bathtub. Versatile and visually rich for portrait, lifestyle, and fashion work. Bring a towel if you plan to use the shower. Changing rooms and makeup mirrors are available on site. Models are encouraged to bring multiple looks. How It Works • This is a collaborative group mixer. Please share the space respectfully, rotate between studios, and work together creatively. • Models and photographers are not provided or guaranteed. You may bring your own team or collaborate with other creatives at the event. FD Photo Studio provides the studio space, and available lighting equipment only. • By default, attendees may photograph and be photographed unless they choose to opt out. Please always respect personal boundaries. • Any model releases or agreements are handled directly between participants. FD Photo Studio does not manage or mediate individual arrangements. • Please note: everyone entering the studio must have a valid ticket. Attendees are responsible for their own equipment, personal items, and personal safety during the event. Our host will be on-site throughout to help with anything you need.
