The evening opens with a fireside chat: Art Poghosyan, co-founder and CEO of Britive, in conversation with Areg Alimian, Managing Partner at SmartGateVC. Britive was founded in Glendale and today secures cloud and AI-agent access for enterprises worldwide, backed by a $20.5M Series B - a working example of what a company started in this city can become. 6:30-7:00 PM, before the pitches. This event marks the culmination of Cohort 2 of the Hero House Venture Building Program, a 16-week build sprint designed to take teams from problem selection and customer discovery to a validated product, clear go-to-market, and investor-ready pitch. You’ll hear companies pitch what they’ve shipped and what they’re building next, cross AI, cybersecurity, Physical AI. Stick around after the pitches to meet the founders and connect with investors, operators, and builders. The Hero House Venture Building Program is run in partnership with the City of Glendale. This event is part of Glendale Tech Week (GTW), taking place September 23–26, 2026, which serves solely as a platform for independent event organizers to promote and host their own events.
