Learn the simple rules of great pairings just in time for Thanksgiving. Taste classic matches and meet new people. What do you pour with roast turkey and mashed potatoes? With Thanksgiving days away, this class gives you the answer, plus the know-how to pair wine with any meal. Wine Director Kevin Cluppert breaks down how acidity, tannin, sweetness and body interact with food, and why "what grows together, goes together" works so well. Then we put it to the test with classic pairings. Good food and wine are meant to be shared, and this hour is no exception. What to expect: • Classic pairings like Sangiovese with tomato-sauce pasta, Sancerre with goat cheese, and Vin Jaune with Comté • The basic rules for matching wine to any dish • What to pour at Thanksgiving dinner • A tasting portion of food with each wine
