Artist Resource Series

Free workshops for artists covering business, grants, copyright, marketing, and contracts, with Q&A, networking, and recordings. Artist Resource Series Louisville Visual Art’s Artist Resource Series provides artists with practical tools and knowledge for building sustainable creative practices. The free, in-person series brings local artists together with professionals working in areas including business, fundraising, intellectual property, marketing, and contracts. Each two-hour session includes a presentation, a Q&A shaped by questions submitted by attendees, and time for networking and community building over light refreshments. Gibbs II, an attorney specializing in intellectual property and technology and an LVA board member • Marketing: Artist Statements, CVs & Websites Saturday, March 20, 2027 Led by Dr. Bailey Moorhead, Assistant Professor of English at the Kentucky College of Art and Design Additional sessions on studio visits and contract essentials will be announced at a later date. All sessions are free with advance registration and take place at Louisville Visual Art, 1538 Lytle Street. Attendees who cannot attend in person may register to receive a recording following the session. The Artist Resource Series is presented with support from the Great Meadows Foundation.
