Included in tuition is an hour INTEGRATION ZOOM CALL - November 22, 6-7pm - to help you integrate the material into your life. What if asking for what you want didn’t have to feel selfish, demanding, or uncomfortable? Many of us have learned to accommodate, anticipate others’ needs, say yes when we really mean no, or hope people will somehow know what we want without having to ask. Others may know exactly what they want — but struggle to ask for it directly, receive without guilt, or hear “no” without experiencing it as rejection. These patterns don’t just show up in intimate relationships. They shape how we navigate friendship, family, work, caregiving, collaboration, community — and our relationship with life itself. The Wheel of Consent: Life Edition offers an experiential laboratory for exploring a more empowered way of relating. 🌿 Based on The Wheel of Consent® by Dr. Betty Martin The Wheel offers a deceptively simple and profoundly revealing map for understanding giving, receiving, choice, boundaries, and who an interaction is actually for. While the Wheel is often taught through touch, this empowering lab provides the guidance to explore what you are genuinely available for - and what you are not - in your everyday life. You will have the opportunity to work with a current situation from your life that you would like to gain more agency around. Through embodied inquiry, real-life scenarios, partner exercises, reflection, and practice, we’ll explore questions like: ✨ What do I actually want — when I stop filtering my desires through what I think is acceptable? ✨ How do I make a clear request without turning it into a demand? ✨ Can I hear “no” without collapsing, withdrawing, persuading, or taking it personally? ✨ Can I say “no” while staying connected to myself and the other person? ✨ When I give, am I genuinely giving — or am I secretly hoping to get something in return? ✨ Can I receive something simply because I want it, without feeling guilty or indebted? ✨ What changes when I stop automatically accommodating others and include myself in the equation? ❤️ In this workshop, you’ll practice how to: • Make clear, direct requests in everyday situations • Receive a “no” with greater ease and resilience • Say “yes” and “no” from genuine choice rather than habit, guilt, fear, or people-pleasing • Recognize the difference between giving freely and giving with an unspoken agenda • Create agreements that honor everyone involved • Bring greater clarity, integrity, agency, and aliveness into your relationships You’ll walk away with: 💎 Greater awareness of unconscious patterns of over-giving, accommodating, assuming, or expecting. 💎 Greater clarity to distinguish what you genuinely want from obligation or expectation 💎 Practical language and tools for asking, negotiating, setting boundaries, and navigating interactions in in your everyday life. 💎 More confidence in expressing yourself without abandoning either your truth or your connection with others. The Wheel of Consent: Life Edition is ultimately an exploration of how we participate in life — with greater choice, responsibility, generosity, sovereignty, and freedom. No touch or intimate exercises are involved. All practices are designed around everyday situations and can be adapted to each participant’s comfort level.
