Laugh until your sides hurt with a night of standup comedy featuring the hilarious Jason Merrill & Friends! The Phoenician is bringing yet another fun night of standup comedy to Haverhill on Saturday, October 17th, headlined by Massachusetts native Jason Merrill, bringing his animated, high energy stage presence to the stage! Jason grew up in Lawrence, where he first found his voice as the funniest guy in the room before taking his sarcastic, authentically New England sense of humor on the road. Since starting out on the open mic circuit in 2018, he has become a regular at Nick's Comedy Stop, Giggles Comedy Club, and Headliners Comedy Club, sharing the stage with legendary names like Lenny Clarke, Steve Sweeney, Tony V, and Christine Hurley. Joining Jason is Las Vegas veteran Joni Grassey, who spent more than 20 years working the biggest rooms in Vegas, including Catch a Rising Star, The Improv, and The Comedy Stop. She starred in the comedy revue Funniest Females at O'Shea's for a full year and performed at Caesars Magical Empire, earning a reputation the Las Vegas Review Journal summed up as "a quality Vegas mainstay."
