Healing Movement Journey: Tending to Inner Teen, Sacred Rage & Shadows

Join us in honoring our inner teen rebels as we tend to our teenage wounds, shadow parts and sacred rage. When: Sun, Oct 18 at 2:45pm arrival Where: Izizwe Dance Studio - 4 Union St - Lawrence Who: Please note this is a BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, Women of Color) and Gender expansive space. As we continue to deepen our inner child healing work, we want to focus this journey on honoring our teen rebel selves. We know how much rage they carry. How misunderstood many of them felt. The wounds many of us still wear from those teenage emo days. Let us tend to our teenage shadow parts and sacred rage - to express, dress, scream, dance, move and heal in community. Many teens isolated and we want to invite folks to tend to their teen selves through community by being witnessed, held, heard and transformed together. This journey is facilitated by A'dahi Baira, Two-Spirit, Afro-Taino-Borikua Medicine Holder from Colectiva Wellness & Healing and Kathy Lebron, a Liberation Architect, Weaver of Belonging, Creatrix and Radical Madre from Comadres Liberadas. For financial accessibility we are offering sliding scale tickets and 2 fully paid scholarships (first come, first serve). If you would like a scholarship please email: [email protected] -
