Homeschool Program: Redcoats and Rebels; New Hampshire and the American Revolution

Redcoats and Rebels: New Hampshire and the American Revolution Recommended for ages 12 to 16 Dates: One Monday a month, January 11, February 8, March 8, and April 12, 2027 (snow date May 10, 2027) Time: 1:30-3:30 p.m. Experience the American Revolution at the New Hampshire Historical Society! This program uses a tabletop game structure to immerse learners in the role that New Hampshire played in the fight for independence from Britain and bring a human perspective to these key events. Kids will experience the history of the American Revolution in a whole new way as they play out four conflicts over the course of the program. Using a character they have created, participants will gain new insights into the motivations of both Redcoats and Rebels and make decisions that will impact the fate of a new nation. This drop-off program is recommended for ages 12 to 16 and learners are encouraged to complete some work at home. The fee is $80 per learner with a $10 sibling discount.
