Pull Up a Chair: Is the World Really Ending?

Coffee and an honest conversation about AI safety. You’ve seen the headlines. Some very smart people say AI could be the biggest risk we’ve ever faced, and others think that’s overblown. We’re grabbing a table and talking it through. What we’ll get into: • What people actually mean when they talk about “AI safety” • Which worries deserve your attention, and which are mostly noise • Whether there’s anything regular people can do about any of it Who should come: Anyone who has wondered about this. You don’t need to know how AI works. Skeptics are welcome, and so are worriers. There are no slides and no presentation, just a conversation. Bring a question, or just bring your coffee and listen. Buy your own coffee; the conversation is free. Hosted by Phil Magnuszewski, founder of AI in NH, and Gavin Lawton, Nashua chapter lead. About Pull Up a Chair: Informal conversations about AI in everyday places around New Hampshire. Small groups, real questions, no expertise required. About AI in NH: AI in NH is a statewide nonprofit working to make New Hampshire the most AI-literate state in the nation. Learn more at aiinnh.org.
