Join the City of Weslaco, Knapp Community Care Foundation and the Blue Zones team for the Blue Zones Ignite Weslaco Community Assessment Readout, where we’ll share findings from the recent community assessment and explore opportunities to improve health and well-being in Weslaco. From August 31 through September 2, the Blue Zones team met with residents, community leaders, and local organizations through interviews, focus groups, and community discussions to better understand the factors influencing health, well-being, and quality of life in Weslaco. The team returns to present its findings, highlight community strengths and opportunities, and discuss Weslaco’s readiness to pursue a long-term Blue Zones Project.
