La Velada: An Alchemy of Past and Present

Born in Córdoba, Gálvez began her flamenco training at age three and earned a degree in Spanish Dance from the Professional Dance Conservatory. She later studied on scholarship at the Andalusian Dance Center and has performed with leading companies including David Coria, María Pagés, Úrsula López, José Porcel, and Juan Carlos Avecilla. Her honors include the Outstanding Dancer Prize (2015) and the Young Flamenco Artists Award from the Provincial Council of Córdoba (2023). The City of Aventura proudly partners with FUNDarte to present this performance as part of the FL.Flamencos series co-presented with the Miami-Dade County Auditorium.
