FIU Symphony Orchestra opens the 2026–27 season with Mozart’s dazzling “Paris” Symphony and more. The FIU Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Javier José Mendoza, opens the 2026–27 season with Mozart’s brilliant Symphony No. 31 in D Major, the “Paris” Symphony. Join us at The Wertheim as FIU’s outstanding student musicians launch a milestone season celebrating 30 years of music and performance at the Herbert and Nicole Wertheim School of Music & Performing Arts.
